Mead Park snack bar promotes ‘greenness’

In an effort to further promote New Canaan’s sustainability initiatives and a “carry in, carry out” policy that stresses proper litter disposal, the Department of Public Works recently installed a solar-powered trash compactor in the Mead Park snack bar sitting area.
